Adam's Cove is a cabin and 118 acre family homestead that has been with the Adam's family for several generations.  They have decided to share this special property with our guests.  The cabin sits on top of the hill overlooking rolling pastures and a small stream below.  The mountainsides provide a back drop around the property and gives you an incredible sense of seclusion. You are still only five minutes or so from most of the eastern Ocoee Whitewater rafting outfitters and approximately 20 minutes from downtown Blue Ridge with all of its shops and unique restaurants.  The Ocoee Whitewater Center is just 5 to 10 minutes away which is home to the Tanasi Trail system for you hiking and mountain biking enthusiasts The cabin has three bedrooms one of which is a loft bedroom and two full bathrooms. We are following the recommendations for cleaning and disinfecting provided by the CDC. This cozy cabin sits on 20 acres of land with beautiful views from both sides of the property. Long-range mountain views from one side and a large private pond view on the other side. The cabin has two bedrooms and two bathrooms. For a cabin in the mountains, this has more luxury most cabins with beautiful modern bathrooms and a high-end kitchen. Ocoee River Overlook is one of the most unique cabins you will see and it is affordably priced!  You will need 4 wheel drive or All Wheel drive.  Ocoee River Overlook was designed to a small rustic barn type cabin will all of the modern conveniences such as wifi, satellite tv, hot tub and a great view as an added bonus.  The Ocoee river is just on the opposite side of the road from the driveway and you can see it meander through the mountains from the deck.  Inside the cabin you will experience a rustic motif but you will in no way be roughing it.  Most of the year you won't need the central heat and air as you can just let the fresh mountain flow through the screen doors.  Great for a couples romantic getaway or small family vacation as the upstairs bedroom sleeps 3 and has it own private exterior stairway.  Relax under the stars from the hot tub or the campfire pit.  Here is a guest's (Emily) comment which probably better than our description- “This place is PERFECT for a couple's getaway. The barn style cabin sits at the top of a hill surrounded by woods and overlooking the Ocoee. The front porch offers a beautiful view of the mountains. And while it does have central heat and air, we slept with the windows open (even in July) and enjoyed the mountain air and the all the sounds of nature. PARTY POLICY: We do not allow parties of any kind unless we have been expressly advised and have given written permission. There is a bathhouse near the tents with running water, however potable water must be brought in to the tents. We do not supply drinking water inside of the tents. Our water in the cabin comes from a spring located on the property. The water is periodically tested for your safety. ALCOHOL: Wine and beer can be purchased locally at select locations. Liquor can be purchased in Ellijay, GA or Murphy, NC. Please inquire for specific locations and addresses. CLEANING CHARGES: The cleaning fee is based on the average time required to ready the property for the next guest. We reserve the right to charge your account for additional cleaning time. To avoid additional cleaning charges please leave the cabin in a reasonable condition! TOWELS: There are freshly laundered bath towels inside each tent for your use. Additional towels are on the shelves in the bathhouses or available to you upon request. Please place all used/dirty towels in the basket inside the bathhouses upon check-out. COOKING UTENSILS: Cooking utensils and dishes are not provided in the Glamping Tents. There is a microwave, coffee maker and grill for your use. You will need to bring your own plates, cutlery, cups, coffee, potable water, etc. There is a list of local grocery stores with their addresses that can be provided upon request. AIR CONDITIONER: There is a small A/C unit in each tent. This unit can be used as a fan, air conditioner or heater. Instructions for use are in the manual inside each tent. FIRE PIT: Please use caution when having a fire. Fire should never be left unattended and please be aware that high winds can develop at any time day or night. The riverfront has a 110 ton rock wall with rock steps on the left side for easy access to the river. This three story cabin has: 3 king bedrooms each with connecting or private baths; 1 queen bedroom and 1 full bedroom. All are filled with custom made furniture that brings the outdoors inside. From the ground floor you can walk out from one of the king bedrooms to the lower patio to enjoy your morning coffee in one of the rocking chairs or swing, or to catch a trout for breakfast. The ground floor also has an entertainment area with a new (6/16) tournament quality pool table, poker table and wet bar with a bar refrigerator. The second (main) level is where you will find a well equipped kitchen, bar, dining and living area with fireplace as well as another king bedroom and laundry room. Our hot tubs are always turned on and set to 102 degrees F. The chemicals have been properly aligned and tested for your safety and enjoyment. Please do not change the hot tub settings. You may turn the jets on and off as well as the fountain and lights. When finished using the hot tub, please close the lid securely and be careful when exiting as the deck can be slippery when wet. TOWELS: There are freshly laundered bath towels, hand towels and washcloths in the bathroom towel storage rack. There are a number of kitchen towels and a drying pad for dishes in the kitchen. If additional linens are needed, please contact management. At the end of your stay, please place all used towels on the bathroom floor. COOKING UTENSILS: Cooking utensils and dishes are provided. Please use what you need and wash and dry when finished. Dish liquid is provided as well as dish towels. There is a list of local grocery stores with their addresses that can be provided upon request. AIR CONDITIONER: There is a window air conditioning unit in each cabin. Instructions are printed in the manual inside each cabin. FIRE PIT: Please use caution when having a fire. Fire should never be left unattended and please be aware that high winds can develop at any time day or night. Be sure to extinguish all fires thoroughly. There is a sand bucket next to the fire pit. Please douse the fire when finished and ensure that all burning embers are extinguished. If you start a forest fire or burn a building down, you will be held responsible! There is a stack of wood appropriate for use in the fire pit. It is stacked behind the firepit. Please only use wood form this woodpile for the fire pit. FIREWORKS OR FIREARMS: Shooting fireworks or firearms is strictly prohibited! PEST CONTROL: Welcome to the mountains. We do treat our cabins for pests on a regular basis. Please do your part and keep doors and windows closed to keep unwanted pests out of the cabin. INSECTS ARE A FACT OF LIFE IN THE MOUNTAINS. WILDLIFE: We do have wild animals in the mountains and woods around the cabin. Please do not leave any trash or food outside of the cabins or in your car. Please be sure to keep the car windows up. Do not feed the wild animals or birds. TRASH: There is a small trash can in the cabin for your daily use. Please do not leave food or trash bags containing food unsecured outdoors (there are wild animals in the mountains!). There is an outdoor trash bin for your use.
